Description
This wine tasting in Monterosso al Mare takes place inside the International Wine Shop, the oldest one in the Cinque Terre, where the bottles on the shelves tell of hand-carved terraces and the hard work of those who farm them. You sit among the wines and taste five of them, each matched with a typical local food.

Between one glass and the next, the guide explains what sets each wine apart, how vines are tended on these steep slopes and the stories of the producers behind the labels. A short video made for the experience shows how vertical the Cinque Terre landscape is and how much work goes into every row of vines.
