Description

A 4-hour boat tour to discover the Gulf of Poets and the wonders of Liguria. Depart from La Spezia with a small group of 12 guests and admire picturesque towns, villages, and crystal-clear waters.

Please meet 15 minutes prior to the departure time at the Mirabello port of La Spezia, and the sailing tour will begin. We will glide along the Poet's Gulf, one of the most beautiful parts of Liguria, taking in the picturesque towns of Marola, Cadimare and Fezzano. These enchanting seaside villages, with their colorful houses and quaint little harbors, will offer you an authentic glimpse of life on the Ligurian coast. Continuing on to Le Grazie, you will be able to observe the farming of mussels and oysters, one of the area’s culinary specialties and a delicacy of the local gastronomic tradition. The tour continues along the western coast of the Poet's Gulf, where you will find the seaside villages. Here, you can discover UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Portovenere and its archipelago: Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. You will have around 60–90 minutes to visit Portovenere. You can admire the famous Church of St. Peter, built on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, and Doria Castle, or stroll through the town's characteristic narrow streets, known as “caruggi.” After the stop, we will sail to Cala dell’Ammiraglio, an exclusive spot accessible only by sea, where you will have the opportunity to dive, swim, and cool off in the crystal-clear waters. Passing by Torre Scola, heading towards the east coast of the gulf, you will be able to admire the village of Tellaro, the picturesque Fiascherino Bay, and La Caletta from the sea – ideal spots to capture extraordinary photos. On the return journey, as we pass by shipyards and historic warships, you can enjoy a delicious limoncello served on board. The tour ends after approximately 4 hours with a return to the original meeting point.
