Description

Embark on a delightful, brief trek starting from the picturesque village of Vernazza. This enchanting walk leads you directly to La Bottega in Mavà, home to a vibrant lemon grove. Here, you'll have the special chance to sample our exquisite homemade limoncino. And, if you wish to explore further, you're welcome to taste our selection of local wines and other artisanal liqueurs, all while soaking in truly breathtaking panoramic views.

Ready for an unforgettable adventure through the Cinque Terre? Our journey begins just below Vernazza station, right in front of the charming Azienda Agricola La Bottega shop. First, we'll explore the timeless village of Vernazza itself! Picture this: a quaint square gazing out over the sparkling sea, and the iconic Church of Santa Margherita D'Antiochia standing proud. Then, we'll lace up our boots and hit the Verde Azzurro path towards Monterosso. This ancient route connects the two villages with breathtaking scenery. Prepare to be amazed by the iconic terraced landscape of the Cinque Terre. For over a thousand years, locals have meticulously shaped these steep hillsides into horizontal ribbons of land – the *cian* as they call them – supported by incredible dry stone walls. These terraces are more than just pretty; they're vital! They've been used for centuries to cultivate the grapes that produce the region's prestigious DOC wines, like Cinque Terre and Sciacchetrà. Throughout our walk, get ready for postcard-perfect views! We'll have stunning perspectives of Vernazza, Monterosso, and the entire dramatic Cinque Terre coastline. After a delightful 20-30 minute stroll, we'll arrive at the Azienda Agricola la Bottega's magnificent lemon grove in the village of Mavà. Trust me, the view of Vernazza from here is simply sublime! And the best part? We'll indulge in a tasting of local limoncino (made with lemons grown right here!) and delicious focaccia. For those who want to try more local products, there will also be wine and liqueurs produced on the farm's land, which has been lovingly restored after years of being abandoned.
