Local experience from the harbor of La Spezia: Cinque Terre and Portovenere from the sea

Liguria is a natural arch suspended between sky and rock, a beauty that can only be fully appreciated from the sea. We believe that your trip deserves an experience, not just a tour. That's why we accompany you on a journey to discover Portovenere and the Cinque Terre, following the most authentic way of being Ligurian: the sea. With the utmost respect for the places, it will be an experience (full day in a group, on the ferry), with a maximum of 25 participants, individual radios, and assistance from our staff. In addition, trains may be comfortable, but they do not have a view of the villages and do not allow you to enjoy this fabulous coastline. During the trip, we will tell you stories and interesting facts, and then show you hidden corners from the perspective of real locals.  You will meet our staff at the cruise ship terminal in La Spezia and together you will reach the boarding area via Passeggiata Morin, immediately beginning to discover the city's maritime soul. The first stop will be Portovenere, with its colorful houses, the 'carugi', the medieval fortifications and the spectacular church of San Pietro built on the rock at the entrance to the Poet's Gulf, facing Liguria's only archipelago.   The cruise will continue along the Cinque Terre coastline, among terraces, vineyards, and small villages suspended between sea and mountain. In Monterosso, you will have free time to stroll through the historic old town and along the promenade, visit the shops, and taste local specialties such as focaccia, pesto, anchovies, and local wines. The last stop will be Vernazza, clustered around its small natural harbor, with its square overlooking the sea, colorful boats, and typical Ligurian houses reminiscent of the set and atmosphere of the Disney-Pixar film Luca. During the tour, you will taste the famous Ligurian focaccia. A scenic, relaxing and authentic way to avoid crowded stations and discover Liguria through local stories, myths, legends and curiosities.
