Description
This Portovenere Cinque Terre cruise with lunch takes up a whole day, about seven hours on the mini-yacht Giulietta, and links two very different stretches of the Ligurian coast. It starts in the Gulf of Poets, gliding past the pastel buildings of Portovenere and seeing its medieval look from the water, then sets course for the Cinque Terre.
On the way there is time to dive into turquoise water and lie in the sun. Lunch is served on board and kept light: artisanal focaccia, homemade pesto and other fresh food, with local wine to go with it. Depending on sea conditions and the captain's suggestion, the boat may stop at Monterosso for an artisan gelato or to step ashore briefly, and then carries on.

Later the boat moves away from the shore for a panoramic view of the whole shoreline. Bring swimwear and towels. The cruise is not suited to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
