Description
This wine tasting in Vernazza starts on a panoramic terrace inside the historic walls of the village, where the vineyard that made the wines lies in view. Three white Cinque Terre DOC wines, an IGT red and a Sciacchetrà passito are poured, and the producers describe the grapes, the winemaking and the character of each one. Snacks come with the glasses.
The vineyard visit begins just a few metres from the Vernazza Post Office. The owner and winemaker leads it, holds a PhD in Agriculture and explains the regenerative farming practices used here. Along the way you see the different grape varieties that go into the wines and the dry stone walls that hold the terraces, together with the work of restoring them.

The experience lasts about an hour and a half, is led live and is run by a family that has made wine in Vernazza for 500 years. It is not suitable for wheelchair users.
