Description
The Town Hall of La Spezia, facing the current Piazza Europa, is a building erected in 1933 by architect Franco Oliva in the typical rationalist style of the time.
It is characterized by a massive architecture slightly lightened by a high portico, a square corner tower and a polygonal arengario. The parapet of the arengario remained devoid of the original planned Carrara marble sculptural cladding.
On the facade facing the square there are four arched windows that span multiple floors of the building.
