Description
Set sail from La Spezia for an unforgettable adventure, exploring the breathtaking coastal gems of Cinque Terre by boat. This isn't just a tour; it's an immersive experience! We'll make generous stops, inviting you to dive into the sparkling waters for invigorating snorkeling in the tranquil bays. Onboard, get ready to tantalize your taste buds: savor delectable, authentic Italian food, perfectly paired with crisp Vermentino wine and celebratory prosecco. And for the grand finale, indulge in a scoop (or two!) of the renowned, creamy Monterosso gelato. Pure bliss!
Ahoy there, adventurers! Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey along the stunning Ligurian coast.
Your charismatic captain, Davide, will be waiting to welcome you aboard the charming Didi boat at the pier. We set sail at 9:20 AM from Lerici, followed by pick-ups at 9:45 AM in La Spezia, and 10:10 AM in picturesque Portovenere.
As we glide across the shimmering Gulf of Poets, prepare to be captivated by Davide's tales of the region's rich history and natural wonders. We'll cruise past Portovenere, often called the "sixth town of Cinque Terre," offering breathtaking views of its unique architecture, the legendary Byron's Grotto, and the iconic Church of San Pietro dramatically perched at the entrance of the bay.
Our adventure continues towards the world-famous Cinque Terre. Keep your eyes peeled as we navigate the coastline between Portovenere and Riomaggiore. This stretch is a hidden gem, revealing sights only accessible by sea: dramatic red cliffs cascading into secluded beaches, quaint fishing villages clinging to the rocks (reachable by some *serious* staircases!), and even natural waterfalls where you can brave an invigorating (read: *very* cold!) shower.
Hold on tight, because we're making two swimming stops! First, we'll dive into the crystal-clear waters near those striking red rocks, where you can savor the taste of authentic focaccia and refreshing drinks. Later, we'll snorkel near a waterfall – the perfect way to cool off and feel truly alive!
We'll then enter the protected Cinque Terre National Park, where you'll begin to see the terraced vineyards that produce the region's celebrated Vermentino wine.
We'll sail past all five villages, giving you ample opportunity to capture postcard-perfect photos. Then, it's brunch time! We'll anchor near a secluded cave, a prime spot for a refreshing jump into the sea just past Corniglia.
In Monterosso, you'll have some free time to explore, indulge in a delicious gelato, and pick up a souvenir for your loved ones (or maybe just a little something for yourself!).
But wait, there's more! We have one last, *surprise* swimming stop planned – the best one yet, I promise!
I can't wait to share this incredible experience with you!
